How to Use My Draft Strategist
1 Load Rankings
Upload your custom rankings as a CSV or Excel file, drop the file onto the card, or paste raw CSV text. Your file needs a Name (or "Player") column. Rows are ranked in the order they appear, and Position, Team, Tier, and Bye columns are picked up if present. Or, use the Quick-Start option to load live Market Value rankings directly from the LeagueLogs market (it uses the format selected in Step 3).
- Aggregate Rankings: Turn this on before uploading to blend the new file with your currently loaded rankings instead of replacing them. Use the slider to set how much weight each set gets.
- Rookie Badges: When rankings load, the app matches players against Sleeper's database and automatically assigns Rookie badges (R) to first-year players.
2 Add / Sync Draft Profiles
You can maintain multiple draft profiles at once and swap between them using the header dropdown.
- Live Sync: Users drafting on Sleeper can enter their Username and Draft ID (or paste the full draft URL) to sync live draft picks. The app also pulls in the league's team count, rounds, roster slots, and Third Round Reversal setting. You can hit the Sync button manually or toggle "Live Auto-Sync" to have the board update automatically every 3 seconds.
- Manual Drafts: Users of other platforms can click "Create Manual Draft" and manually input pick selections on the Tracker tab.
3 Live Market Value (ADP)
If you uploaded custom rankings, select the LeagueLogs or Sleeper profile that matches your league format and click "Fetch Market Value" to pull in live ADP, so you know when players are actually being drafted. If a live source is unavailable, you can paste ADP values manually using the fallback box.
4 Roster Limits, Settings & Analytics
Set your starting lineup slots, bench size, number of teams, and total rounds in the Setup tab, then click "Save Settings". These are saved to the active draft profile (Sleeper drafts fill them in automatically). The Team tab will automatically slot drafted players into their correct positions and calculate roster limits.
- Highlight Stacks: Turn on "Highlight Stacks" to automatically place a Stack badge on available WRs or TEs if you have already drafted their Quarterback (or vice versa).
- Bye Week Warnings: Toggle this to get instant alerts if 3 or more of your starters share a bye week.
- T-Score Analytics: Toggle this on to overlay predictive WR and RB scoring models, labeling players as Elite, High-End Starter, Strong Starter, Quality Contributor, Boom/Bust, or Depth Player. Tap "Read Methodology" to see how scores are calculated.
- Third Round Reversal (3RR): Turn this on if your league flips the draft order at the start of Round 3, so the Draft Board and pick numbers stay accurate.
- UI Controls: You can also toggle player headshots on the Draft Board or enable the "Collapse Player Cards" setting to save screen space on mobile devices.
5 Call Outs
On the Setup tab, paste lists of names to permanently highlight them throughout the app as Targets (), Avoids (), or Dart Throws (). Separate names with commas or new lines, then click "Save Call Outs".
6 The Tracker
This is your primary view for drafting. It dynamically crosses off drafted players and leaves only the available pool.
- Position Grid & Tiers: Use the position buttons to filter by position. The text T2 (3) means that the highest available Tier for that position is currently Tier 2, and there are exactly 3 players remaining in that tier. Use this to quickly identify positional runs and drop-offs. Additionally, you can tap multiple position buttons at the top (e.g., RB and WR) to view specific positional runs side-by-side.
- Injury Status: Players with injury reports will have a visible badge indicating their status.
- Queue: Tap the ★ on any player card to pin them to your personal Queue at the top of the Tracker. You can drag-and-drop or use the arrows to reorder your targets.
- Affinity Color Labels: Tap the circle icon () next to the Queue Star on any player card to cycle through 5 custom color labels (Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple) to organize and highlight your target players on the fly.
- Rookie Badge: First-year players will have a visible badge indicating their rookie status.
- Stacks: Players who are part of a stack (e.g., a QB and his WR) will have a visible badge indicating their stack status, if selected on the Setup tab.
- Value / Reach Badge: On each player card, you'll see a dynamic value badge based on your rankings. +12 Value means their Custom Rank is 12 spots better than the current pick. -8 Reach means drafting them now is a reach.
- Inline Editor: Tap the pencil icon () on any player card to quickly adjust their Rank, Tier, Team, or Bye Week without leaving the Tracker. You can also select the "★" button to add them to your queue.
- Undo: If a mistake is made, drafted players can be returned to the pool using the "Undo" buttons.
- Missing Players: If you are using Sleeper Live Sync, the app will automatically generate a player card for any drafted player who wasn't in your rankings (most often Kickers and Defenses). If you are drafting manually, a player must be in your uploaded rankings to be drafted.
7 The Team Tab & Exporting
This tab shows your starting lineup and bench.
- Draft Recap: Once your roster is filled, the app generates a Post-Draft Recap. This includes your Draft Archetype (e.g., Hero RB, Zero RB, Elite TE), Positional Grades (A+ through F based on Draft Value Efficiency), and highlights your Biggest Steal and Biggest Reach.
- Export Team: Click the "Export" button to capture an image of your drafted lineup and optional recap analysis to save or share to social media.
8 The Draft Board
A full-bleed matrix that scales dynamically to your league size (e.g., 10-team, 12-team) to show exactly who drafted whom, round-by-round. It supports both live Sleeper sync and manual offline pick tracking!
9 Backup, Restore & Reset
Your drafts, rankings, and settings are stored in this browser only. At the bottom of the Setup tab:
- Export / Import Backup: Download everything as a file, then import it to restore on this or another device or browser.
- Reset Draft Picks Only: Clears the picks from the active draft while keeping your rankings and settings.
- Reset Everything: Deletes all My Draft Strategist drafts, rankings, and settings. My Lineup Strategist data is not affected.

For the best experience, you can install this app directly to your home screen! If your browser supports it, tap the "Install App" button on the Setup screen or use your browser's menu options (like "Add to Home Screen") to get a full-screen, native app experience.
